Privacy Policy

AEONIS LLC operates Aeonis Flood. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Searches and reports. The address text or map location you check and the resulting report, stored so share links work. We also keep basic counts (zone, state, ZIP) to improve the Service.
• Early-access sign-ups. Your email address and the role you select, if you choose to join.
• Rate limiting. Your network (IP) address is converted to a salted one-way hash and stored with daily counters. We don't store raw IP addresses.
• Pro subscribers. Your Gumroad license key (stored as a one-way hash, plus an encrypted copy so we can re-check the subscription status with Gumroad daily), the email and plan Gumroad returns for that key, your branding profile (name, company, title, license number, phone, email, website, logo), the addresses you save for monitoring, and your monthly usage counts. Your browser keeps your license key in local storage so you stay signed in; “Sign out” removes it.
• People who use a subscriber's lead widget. If you request a full report through a real estate or insurance professional's widget, we collect your name, email, optional phone, the address you checked, and a record of your consent (text, time, a hashed network address and browser type). We store this on behalf of that professional, who receives it and decides how to contact you; their own privacy policy applies to their use. We don't contact you, sell your details or share them with anyone else. To have a lead deleted, contact the professional or email us.
• Location. Only if you press “Use my location” and your browser allows it; the coordinates are used to run that report.

Who receives your search

To build a report we send the address text or coordinates to public data providers: the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder, OpenStreetMap services (Nominatim and Photon by Komoot), FEMA, USGS and NOAA. Map tiles load from USGS and FEMA servers directly in your browser. The Service runs on Cloudflare, which may collect cookieless, aggregate page-view statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Payments for Pro are processed by Gumroad (we receive your email, plan and license status, never your card details). These providers have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and storage

Aeonis Flood doesn't set cookies. Local storage is used only on the Pro dashboard to keep a subscriber signed in (license key and chosen profile). Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies.

International transfers

Cloudflare serves the Service from data centers worldwide, so requests may be processed outside your country. Data is stored with Cloudflare D1.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent personal information, we don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies, and we only email early-access members about Aeonis Flood, with an unsubscribe option in every email.

Retention and your choices

Reports are kept so links keep working; Pro profiles, saved addresses and leads are deleted about 90 days after the subscription ends, or sooner on request (subscribers can delete leads and saved addresses anytime); early-access emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. To access or delete your data, email ronald@aeonis.pro; we respond within 30 days. The Service is not directed at children under 13.
